We just got this coffee pot at Costco for $99 and LOVE IT! It takes a little more work getting set up than our old Mr. Coffee pot. You have to clean the grinding components each time for optimal taste - that is why I only gave it 4 stars. But the extra time is worth it. So, there seems to be alot of whining in the review column for this coffee maker. The product is fine. It works, it brews good coffee, and it only takes twenty seconds to clean the grinding section, and the thermal design is a good safety feature. Its really beyond me what the people who give it a bad review expect or are trying to accomplish.

2 years old and mine has worked great. If you can get a deal on this maker I would recommend it. My coffee always makes it into the filter. Maybe some people use oily beans and that's where they have the problem. I do think I was getting a hotter cup of coffee before then I am now and am going to go with a separate hopper grinder and thermal

It's loud. The cleaning procedure is complex and cumbersome. BUT - I make coffee at 8 am that is still comfortably warm at 5 pm. It looks nice with my stainless steel appliances.
